Fully Assembled and Tested
NEC-compliant pre-assembled power systems include inverter(s), AC enclosure with inverter bypass, DC enclosure, inverter disconnect breaker and shunt, all mounted to a back plate and prewired. Charge controllers, battery cables, and displays are not included. Charge controllers, additional AC and DC input and load breakers can be added at the time of pre-assembly, or in the field. Grid-Tie FLEXware 500 Systems
We offer pre-assembled, pre-wired and tested, complete one-inverter or two-inverter OutBack grid-tie power systems based on Out-Back FLEXware 500 power system components. Choose a 24V or 48V system, and either the sealed or vented inverter models. Use with one or two FlexMax charge controllers and a solar array to create a fully automated utility-intertie sysytem with battery backup.
Each power panel, in addition to the inverter(s), includes the FLEXware 500 AC and DC enclosure backplate, DC inverter breakers, 120/240 VAC-input-output-bypass breaker assembly, OutBack's MATE3, HUB4, AC-DC surge arrestor, and RTS remote temperature sensor, all pre-installed.
Other options, such as AC and DC circuit breakers, and the FLEXnet battery monitor, can be assembled and tested in our ETL certified shop, or installed in the field. The X-240 autotransformer can only be installed on single inverter in grid-tie systems for 120/240 VAC output. The X-240 cannot be installed with 2 inverters in grid-tie systems due to anti-islanding requirements. These grid-tie power panels are not recommended for use with most engine generators.
